People underestimate her writing skills tbh. I mean if you've ever listened to Katy Hudson or (A) Katy Perry (unreleased album) you'd know she showcases it much better than on Teenage Dream.

I would prefer huge, anthemic post-breakup tunes like Part of Me or Since-U Been Gone-type of songs to dark ones like Circle the Drain.
