The other big surprise is-- after careful consideration Kelly Rowland has decided to push her album, My Story... Kelly Rowland, back until February 2007. The funny thing is, when we previewed Kelly's album for us a few weeks ago, we were reprimanded for being so brutally honest about our dislike for what she had to offer. Apparently we weren't the only one and the powers that be have saved themselves a lot of money and a lot of shame by sending baby girl back into the lab.

SOHH Soulful wanted to do it's part in supporting good R&B by offering Kelly Rowland a few tips. The first of which is: GO TO THE CLUB! Get a feeling for what the street is seeking. Smell the new trends, invent your own... but get in the clubs boo. Until Kelly returns, there is always Letoya Luckett.

I've already expressed my disappointment with "Gotsa Go" and her new material in general. It's very generic and dated. It's nothing that will work, especially in a music year like '06. People on music boards across the net have expressed their dislike for her new material. So yeah, I'm not surprised about the delay. But wow, what a huge delay!

What I don't get is who allowed her to make such atrocious music? It's completely unfair to an incredible talent like Kelly Rowland. I think Kelly should look elseware for management...

But like it says above, LeToya will occupy DC fans for now. I'm REALLY feeling LeToya's material. Her debut could possibly one of the best R&B albums this millenium.

Hopefully she'll come up with something better.

she needs to get some good producers in there.... Missy Elliott, Timbaland, The Neptunes...to name a few....

She needs to not get Beyonce's approval or the Knowles for the music and producers and writers she works with. She also should NEVER associate or work with artists that can not make it in today's industry (Da Brat). Poor Kelly, she has so much potential, but as long as she's under Beyonce's wig, she will never be the best she can be.

Oh and also Kelly should keep Solange away from writing whack songs for her, if Solange isn't good enough to write for her own big sister, then Solange shouldn't be good enough to write for Kelly.

Gotta admit it, I am EXTREMELY upset (assuming this is true and not just some internet mumbo jumbo)! "Gotsta Go" was brillient I thought.

I will admit however that the other tunes I heard from her weren't that good. So I guess she wants an album that will be remembered, and I can't blame her for that. I'd rather her take all the time in the world, and make a good album. Then for her to bring an album out in the next couple of months thats just filled with fillers.

Kelly's music doesn't compare to LeToya's. I'm sure B.R.I.A.N will agre if he ever reads this; but Kelly just doesn't know good music whe Bee's not either fitting the bill, writing the song, or doing the lead vocals. I love Kelly; but she needs to mature as an artist; like now. She'll never be sucessful solo if she doesn't realize recording old Brandy imitations is gonna get her NOWHERE.

It's a shame though. Kelly Rowland is a great singer and, IMO, the best dancer in all incarnations of DC. I think she can potentially blow everyone away. But major errors like this are only holding her back.

Not that many good R&B albums came out in the past 6 years (the new millenium). We had alot of generic **** and a few diamonds in the rough. I've heard the majority of LeToya's debut and it's a great album. I bet you would agree.

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Lets not compare Kelly to Latoya because we all know that that is just a losing battle for the latter. I mean, Kelly harbors more talent in her left titi nipple than Latoya in her ENTIRE body. Latoya clearly sings through her nose/throat, makes horrible music, and has ABSOLUTELY ZERO chance at all to become sucessful. "Torn" is okay at best. I don't hate Beyonce and I DEFINITELY don't hate Kelly Rowland. I know I had a history with the disses but I tend to diss every artist who makes a ridiculous decision, minor or major. I'm not taking cheap shots at anybody and I'm not acting as if my opinions are facts.
