Frankmusik - 2 albums ; 4.5 million scrobbles on Last.fm
Steve Appleton - 2.5 albums (working on a 3rd) ; 129 thousand scrobbles on Last.fm (HUGE in Japan though).
Something tells me Frankmusik is only in the music to make the money. Steve Appleton is a good example because he is no where in "flopping" terms but no one knows about him. Maybe that's why he changed labels. His second album was only released in Japan, not in UK where he originated from. I had to import that bitch from Japan for $55!
I did notice though his album label was originated in Japan, while his debut album was made in UK, which explains why you can't get his second anywhere but Japan.
I guess Frankmusik needs to do what Steve Appleton does. Find a country that LOVES him and just promote it there, and have a label there.
I don't like the new name, but as long he's making music, I'm happy
