They're a normal ----ing rock band who has ALOT of great songs but aren't the best. Likewise with Linkin Park. And how can you sum up a band's entire career in 2 albums? "Hybrid Theory" WAS an amazing and innovative album. Yes I'll admit "Meteora" sounded very similar to HT but so the ---- what? They probably had a **** load of pressure to follow up to one of the biggest selling rock albums of the century. They're working with Rick Rubin this time around who is quite different from Don Gilmore so it will sound much different. Mike Shinoda is also co-producing. And their lyrics aren't generic; they come from the heart, it's not like they make them up to sell albums. "My December", "Hit The Floor", and "Nobody's Listening" don't sound like all of their other songs, maybe you should listen to them, because I really doubt you actually listened to both albums in full.
A couple more things
One, Limp Bizkit copied KoRn yet you like them?
Two, A lot of people have goddamn respect for LP, including KORN, so why the hell don't you? They're aren't the worst band of the 21st century
Three, JAY-Z ASKED LINKIN PARK TO COLLABORATE WITH HIM, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND
Fourth, you said once that all LP care about is having hits? Then how come "In The End" is their only Top 10 hit? "One Step Closer", "Crawling", all of the Reanimation singles, "Faint" and "Lying From You" were not pop hits at all.
And you like "If I Were You" and "Scars" which are extremely generic and were released to become hits.

"Korn" and "normal" really, really don't go together. In 1996, two years after Korn's debut came out, how many rock bands were using 7-string guitars and bagpipes, collaborating with Ice Cube, sporting Adidas and putting their hair in dreads, and being fronted by someone who sang about things nobody else had the balls to sing about? There's only so much I can say, but if you think Korn are an everyday average rock band, just remember who produced their recent album.
I've listened to both albums in full, Hybrid Theory more than Meteora, but nothing clicked with me. "My December" is the only song that is pretty good. And I've heard their demos, those are alright but they're demos.
Korn are basically Limp Bizkit's parents. Maybe if people wouldn't ignore the AOL Acoustic Sessions they would watch the Q&A with Munky and Jonathan, where they talk about the infamous story on how Fred Durst came knocking on their tourbus begging them to check out their demo. Soon enough, LB was signed, and Korn took them out on the Family Values tour and blew them up. Who came next? Staind. Limp Bizkit don't even sound like Korn anymore, I mean, Results May Vary is obviously nothing like Korn. The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) is more inspired by Rage Against the Machine and overall LB are much more rap-infused and that's because they have DJ Lethal. They aren't even one of my
most favorite bands, I like Orgy and Adema a lot more. Those two bands sound more like Korn than almost anybody, but that's because they're from the exact same area - Bakersfield, CA.
Finishing this off. Korn have toured with countless bands that I do not like. Disturbed, 10 Years, Puddle of Mudd, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, and yes, Linkin Park. That must mean they have respect for all of them, but I really don't have to like them. I highly believe that Epic and Sony picked those bands for Korn's Untouchables and Greatest Hits Vol. 1 tours (Take a Look in the Mirror only had a club tour with Limp Bizkit). Back in the day Korn toured with much, much better bands. Filter, Marilyn Manson, HED p.e., Deftones, 311, and Incubus. I don't know what happened. 10 Years, okay, that was this year, but whatever.
Jay-Z asked them, LP asked him, I wouldn't care either way. It sucked.
Dude, forget pop radio. LP's albums are overproduced and extremely pop-tinged but they're still a rock band, and I am talking about rock radio. Everything they release goes to #1 on Modern Rock, and it's because they are set out to make the perfect radio-rock hit. Whatever works for them, I guess. I'd rather support bands that barely make the chart at all yet don't worry about how "catchy" their music is.
Oh, and LMAO. I haven't liked "Scars" since the end of 2004, and "If I Were You" was deleted from my computer after one listen, so I don't know who you're getting your false information from.
