Any way, I would say say Britney. She's basically the most human celebrity to ever grace the music industry. The world has seen her struggles therefore there is sympathy there, plus the fact that it makes her very relatable to see a celebrity go through **** just like us everyday people do in our lives. We as the general public often view celebrities as indestructible. The masses will always root for Britney as they've been doing since day one. Her girl next door image also helped, plus the fact that she's very humble makes her incredibly likable.
Gay teens, the outcast and "freaks" are more likely to find solace in Gaga because they can relate to her because they also feel misunderstood and unaccepted. Britney seems more real than Gaga. At least with Britney, you know her story is real because we saw it unfold in front of us. Gaga's "story" seems more exaggerated and fantasy like. |

How is GaGa 'cold and mechanical'? She's one of the sweetest artists out there. She's donated to charity, always sticking up for the LGBT community, constantly thanks her fans and meets them and has never acted like a diva. She always says nice things about people. If she's cold then every other artist must be frozen.

I say neither. People relate to artists like Taylor Swift and Adele. Gaga and Britney, not so much.
Gaga is definitely more inspiring than Britney though.

I'm referring to the fact that her album was like a ripple in the ocean this year and her relevance in media has almost completely diminished.
And I don't see how Britney is a sweet, normal person and Gaga is an ugly weirdo. They're both sweet, and as far as I can tell, they always have been. Britney isn't normal. She was a 19 year old sex symbol that went through a breakdown the media portrayed as psychotic and now is almost entirely out of the spotlight, except when dragged out into the open by her label for a few distant appearances. Sure, Gaga has built her career on being different, but I'm sure she has more of the public relating to her than Britney. Her Facebook fans should be proof of that. God knows she doesn't actually have 50 million monsters, because if she did, her singles wouldn't be flopping.

Not for all, no. Some just think she's fake and calculated...and she does often come off that way. And this is coming from a fan. Her whole story of being "bullied" seems so forced and fake. I do believe she was picked on, but I also think she exaggerates the **** out of her life to come off like an "outcast"
There is nothing "weird" about Gaga. Take a way the clothes and what lies underneath is a well spoken girl with a nice but average personality just like your typical 24 year old female.

Britney has more in common with Adele and Taylor then Gaga does.... You basically just admitted that Britney is the more relatable person out of the two of them. Hell Taylor even lists Britney as one of her influences on her career.

The general public has followed Britney through all of her tough times, and even though a good percentage of the public now sees her as a mannequin, there seems to be a lot of empathy and support for her. Maybe because she is inoffensive to a degree.
I don't know how the public feels about GaGa as a person. She's a huge name and ratings drawer, but I don't know if the public feels as deeply about her as they do Britney, probably because she is still fairly new and hasn't gone through the trials and tribulations that Britney has gone through.

Some people are more sensitive to bullying. She may have not been bullied extensively but just the constant teasing can be enough to bring people down and make them feel like outcasts. Gaga has proved that she doesn't stand for either of the two. If you genuinely think she's fake and doing it for the fame or something like that...

I kissed her (she smell really good) and I walked down the stairs and I was like jumping everywhere The night of my life !

I went in and I thought .. Oh **** .. this is real .. I was going to cry, but the shock was too much ..
Photos, videos, anything, even seeein her on stage .. can not describe there, how beautiful she was when i saw her to 2 cm from me , she was like another person, a stranger, nothing like the Britney that I have always seen , she was beautiful.
At that moment I lost my words because I've always thought she was beautiful, but not that much .. She is delicate, she looks like a fragile porcelain doll ..
I said: Hi My name is Hilary, nice to meet you and I reached out my hand, I feared for a moment that she would refuse it because some of the guys before me have said that she was a bit hesitant or that she immediately gave them the Book, but she removed her hand from the book and gave it to me and said "Nice to meet you too, This is for you" I said, "Thank you".
We made a heart with our hands and while we were doing the photo I thought i had a facial paralysis, I was anxious and I finally said "bye" and left.
It lasted 30 seconds, but I'm still in shock because of its beauty.
Then we returned to our seats in the front row a few feet from the stage, I saw it very well: it was really good on stage and the girl did not seem fragile like I've seen her in the M & G, much more like a tiger, but more confident every step. The videos do not make you realize the magnificence of the show, the energy transmitted by the magnetic gaze.
I did not want to take pictures or video, because there are a lot of them, I wanted to enjoy the show from top to bottom and honestly ... I did not think could be so beautiful ..
And she was good and talked a little, we also heard her singing to Hiam, UND, Iusa, DONT, and HIR, where it was clear that she sang on the track throughout the song .. In conclusion .. I do not know if I'm a fan more or less than before, but I'm sure it will not be the same: I have not seen a pop star, I have seen a girl like me having fun on stage and playing and doing something that makes her smile . She smiled a lot to the audience. She feels like one of us and she doesn't understand why the simple fact that she is on stage and dances makes her so great .. And I think that the reason why she feels agitated at M & G is : She doesn't see herselves how we see her, but like I see myself in the mirror in the morning ..
This is the thousandth thing I learned from Britney: Be yourself and do not be ashamed of yourself, but bring out your skills without losing sight of who you are and without changing because of others ..
Although rather than 20 seconds for a photo with her, I wanted to be a friend for her and say: talk to me,I know that you need a friend. Anyway She is a beautiful person and I'm honored to be a fan of hers. I will always remember this beautiful moment ..

We got there at 6 and had a wander about then went to the supposed meeting point for our hospitality at 6.30 we were about to be seated in the VIP area when the waitress asked to see our wristbands and we said we hadn't met anyone yet to give them to us and that's what we were doing at the restaurant.
She told us we had to meet somewhere else to get them so we went where she told us to. Signed in and then Fe appears and takes us on the backstage tour straight away - so had the waitress just seated us at the restaurant we would have missed it - I blame event travel for not stating the correct meeting point!
Anyway the tour was the same as you have read many times. Fe was amazing soooo sweet and funny. I LOVE her accent. I told her I fancy Edan she thought that was great and hilarious she said I MUST say hi to him cos he'll get embarassed and go red! I gave her a copy of my siggy to give to him.
Fast forward to meet and greet time
I wasn't nervous until we were all lined up in alphabetical order.
Then Edan appeared and Fe shouted "Edan we want to wave at you because we think your handsome" and she pointed at me and he looked really shy and waved - best bit of my night ha ha he is sooooo sexy in real life.
So I was about halfway down the line and my friend was 2 people before me. When she went in I was close enough for the 1st time to hear Brit speak and I automatically said to the security guy next to me "Oh my god I can hear her" and he laughed and said "you'll see her soon" then it was my turn. I remembered what Fe had advised us "Introduce yourself" so I walked in saw her staring at me smiling and said "Hi Britney" I heard my voice shake when I said it so tried to calm myself - as I got to her I held out my hand and said "I'm Selina - it's really nice to meet you" she shook my hand (cannot even remember how that felt but she definitely did) she also said something then but I was in such a daze I can't remember what she said - I think it was "nice to meet you too" then I said "thank you sooo much for this opportunity - it means so much" or something along those lines. Then I realised I was holding the programme - do not remember at what point she gave it to me or if she said anything when giving it to me lol
Then we took the picture - I put my arm round her and as there are no awkward hands being held at her front!
Then I just said to her "have a great show" I think she said "thankyou" and then I left smiling at Edan as I left.
The experience was amazing well worth the money - I wish I remembered more of what she actually said but until you go into that room you have no idea how you will react. I thought I'd be really calm and say more to her but I just couldn't get words out - I think her beauty stunned me - you literally walk into the room and see an angel staring smiling at you and it really knocks you off course! I did not feel rushed by anyone and I feel I could have said more if I had been able to and I am really grateful for Britneys team being like that.
Best night of my life and now I want to be greedy and do it all over again if she does m&g's in future.

Ok, I'm going to tell you about my experiences yesterday!
We arrived at the Ahoy after a shopping day with my friend in Rotterdam. We had to be there early, so they could give us the information about going on stage that night. So while we waited there, we met two lovely girl (Marjolein & Charlotte) who also had the opportunity to go on stage!
When we got into the Ahoy, we got the information and rules about dancing on stage with Britney. Well, obviously no one was going to break these rules, otherwise you were not going on stage. :P
I had to wait half an hour before the Meet & Greet, so I waited and my nerves couldn't take it (take it, take no more) any longer. And all of a sudden, one of my friends (who invited me to come with her with the Meet & Greet (THANKS MICHELLE! :bow: ) grabbed my arm and I looked up. And Felicia was right in front of our faces and I can tell you: Felicia is soooooo sweet! She's just adorable! Really adorable! Felicia guided us to the dressingrooms and we had to wait there in line before we could meet her. (Wow, now I'm writing this, my heart keeps getting faster. LOL!) So... When we got to the door, I said to the girl, who was with Britney's team, 'I'm really excited about it you know. She's my biggest inspiration for so long!' And she said: 'Ahw! Well, don't worry about it. She's just human like us, she's very sweet. Just breath. You can go now.' So we walked into the room and first I saw Jason, then I looked to the left and there was Brett and and when I took one step more, there was Britney. And I was like: Ok now, keep yourself together, don't panic, just relax, introduce yourself. I looked at her and she stood there, so beautiful, smiling, really friendly. It was just unbelievable. Britney freaking Spears was right in front of my face. First Michelle introduced herself, then I introduced myself and Michelle told her the things she wanted to tell Britney, and now it was my turn. I wanted to say so many things to her, but I forgot the most of it because I was really nervous, but this is what I told her and what she said:
Me: ''You're my biggest inspiration, I really love your work, it's just amazing! I've been to the show in Antwerp and you were amazing there. Enjoy the show tonight! I love you!' Britney: ''Aahw! That's so sweet! You are two sweeties! Do you want to take a picture with me?'' And then she smiled and my heart just melted. And we said: 'Sure!' (She was really shy and not so much of a talker, but Felicia already told us that, but I really didn't mind, she was really sweet and very kind!) I hugged her, we looked into the camera and I was shaking like mad. My lips and my eyebrows were shaking (yeah, that sounds kinda weird, but they do when I get really nervous). I saw a flash coming from the camera and I knew this was it. I met Britney Spears, my idol, my inspiration, and I got a picture with her. My life is complete. No, seriously. It's complete! :hearts:

Yeah I think Britney is probably one of the most loveable and relatable celebrities there ever was. She reminds me a lot of Kylie Minogue in that regard.
