they did that last year once summer started.i don't think its summer on the strip though.i have no idea mtv taking trl this year.imo they should go back to socal.thats what they should do.most of rock videos of that year resulted from that spot.

It was nice seeing the Californian rock bands on TRL that summer. Korn, Deftones, P.O.D., Papa Roach, and Incubus. You will never get better than that, or at least I don't think so. 2000 was overall one of the best years for TRL. I doubt we'll see more than 2 rock bands on the countdown this summer, even if they do go to SoCal. The one thing that sucked was that TRL started pretaping shows for the first time. Despite that, I miss TRL. This **** that they're airing now isn't TRL, sorry. I actually miss the boy bands, kind of, and the Britney Spears that wasn't so trashy and ugly, and the Eminem that wasn't running out of ideas. What happened?

Now someone's gonna tell me to stop complaining since they care so much.

oooo that countdown back in '02 was really good. Korn's "Here To Stay" was a kickass video/song. "Running Away" was Hoobastank's best song IMO and peaked at #2. Also liked the Unwritten Law and Michelle Branch songs.
