The album is NOT going to be a complete throwback. I find it laughable that alot of you are taking Christina's words to describe the album so literally. Even if it was a complete throwback, it'll still be hot. Some of you need to broaden your musical taste.
Oh and do any of you actually know the work of DJ Premier & Kwame? My guess is no, you don't.
Condescending much? lol, anyway I am looking forward too it but i'm a bit worried. I don't have full confidence in her as an artist despite her intentions to be one so badly.
I definately don't think it's gonna flop. Nor do I think it's gonna suck! Her music is just gonna be influenced with a particular style of music. As Brian said, it won't be a complete throwback.
But yeah, I think some people are REALLY exaggerating this whole throwback to the 50's style and what not. But even if it does "suck", it'll probably be a success. It's been proven that adults buy albums more than younger people, and if it appeals to adult masses, then she should be fine.
