Global Grind
In the song, Porcelain gives straight attitude and rock & roll grunge with lyrics like "Definitely kissing a stranger, then leave his ass later, you know. Can't help that I'm attracted to danger. You can't be my savior, uh oh." [S]he tweeted some of the song's lyrics, which gives us listeners a taste of how naughty Ms. Porcelain actually is. "Definitely not an angel but I'm not that evil. Ya know? I'm just so addicted to beautiful people UH OH!"

The RedOne-produced “Naughty Naughty” is basically like everything that Trent Reznor wanted The Downward Spiral to be, mixed in with Manson’s Antichrist Superstar and a splash of Hole circa Live Through This. Nah, I’m just messin’ witcha — “Naughty Naughty” actually sounds like one of RedOne’s crappy Born This Way submissions that Lady GaGa rejected in favor of “Judas”. Just picture an unfinished GaGa demo with Porcelain screaming over the top about being a sexy bad girl, and you’ve got “Naughty Naughty”. But that doesn’t mean that it’s bad. Okay, it is bad, but it’s bad in a semi-good way. I mean, who doesn’t wanna pop their poochie in the middle of the club to classy lyrics like, “Naughty Naughty Naughty we like to party / I know you hate it coz we flirt with everybody! Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh!”

“Definitely not an angel / But I’m not that evil, you know,” Black sings, acknowledging that she’s not as scary as she may seem. Despite Black’s desire to appear dangerous, the song itself is pretty mainstream dance-pop and comes off like a slightly edgier Britney Spears song. And that’s fine, because it’s totally danceable. “Naughty, naughty, naughty, we like to party,” Black sings. “I know you hate it cause I flirt with everybody / Naughty, naughty, naughty, we just wanna party / It’s all about fun and games until I hurt somebody.” The lyrics aren’t convincing, but at least Black has the voice to make them work. ‘Naughty Naughty’ is a step forward from her last release, ‘This is What Rock n Roll Looks Like.’
