I found out about the site when someone advertised their countdown on the VH1 boards in Summer 2008. I didn't join because of that, but eventually I found the site again somehow. I wasn't very active at first.

I viewed the forum for TRL recaps in 2006. I kept viewing the forum, it looked like a cool place, registered and have been here ever since. My mind reason was to show off my awful graphics and start a countdown
i actually joined to get good music news and find out about new music and hear other people's opinions on music topics...when i joined i see it's something different lmao .
I was on another pop music forum called pulsemusic, but the community started to die a little. It became boring and you were only allowed to discuss songs that were sent to US radio basically. I came here because this forum is way more active, and has a more international approach to pop music.
I was looking for a DL link of "Ride" by Ciara. I ended up here and I read the foolishness on a topic about C-Agui. I saw lots of people got warned, the thread got shut the **** down and I was in tears laughing.
So I decided to join in.
