Gaga doesn't need a faux and contrived "stripped down ballad" in order to convey her emotion. The emotion in Hair is to die for, the emotion in TEOG is beautiful, the emotion in Y&I is heartwarming, and the emotion in The Queen is unmatched. Why is there so much emotion? 'Cause the bitch sits down and writes it all herself, unlike some of the examples you provided.

You're doing nothing but nitpicking. You don't need a stripped down song in order to convey emotion and all you have to do is listen to a Gaga song to realize that. Her ability to convey her emotion is brilliant and it's because all of her songs come from her heart. Stop.
You've made a fool of yourself, especially after putting examples that weren't even written by the people who sang them (IK two of them weren't written, but IDK about the others).
