David Fincher has discussed Angelina Jolie's 'Cleopatra'.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo director is rumored to have been targeted for the long-awaited historical remake.
Fincher did not confirm his involvement, but was willing to detail his thoughts about the project.
"That's something I would love to do with Angie [Jolie], he told MTV News. "It's something that was brought to me that you have to take seriously."

Can you imagine Angelina, one of the most iconic women of the present and soon-to-be-all-time play one of the most iconic women in history? Angie's charisma, talent and beauty would make this a blockbusting SMASH!!!
Cleopatra was Greek. HOWEVER, she was also said to have a short and homely frame ; a polar opposite of the exotic, statuesque beauty history has portrayed her as.
So, can we expect Angelina to pack on the pounds for this role?
