How is this considered a flop? It's one of the most successful indie albums this year [and is really good].

Common sense tells us this is about albums. A flop single doesn't mean anything.

How much has Goodbye Lullaby sold in the US?

It sold a decent 1,3 million Worldwide. It wasn't a flop by any means, in the top 40 of the biggest sellers this year.

Quite disheartening to see the comeback efforts of these bands go unnoticed.

They have to understand that people are not here for rock anymore. And some other were just one hit wonders. Wouldn't really consider it a flop list, BUT it's sad to see Avril there.

Joe He better release something generic and safe, and stop trying to be the next justin or whatever. That is so 2000.

Soul punk may have flopped, but unlike the rest of the list, it's an awesome record.

Maybe with the other 3 bands, yeah, but blink's comeback album was bad. It deserved to go unnoticed. Jerry Finn really was the glue that held that band together. Let them try getting a real producer for their next effort.

I thought RHCP did quite good this year? Sad that Rock genre isn't really selling... :/

Next year Rock music should come back to selling. New Linkin Park and & Mumford and Suns and more will defiantly do good, hopefully.

Cobra Starship's album was awesome. But it flopped to the pits. The singles performed well though.

Where is "Furure Hisory"? Where is "All Of You"? Where is "Papercut Chronicles 2", "Love?", "King of Hearts"(Lloyd) , "Planet Pit", "Whatever", "Doggumentary". Where the hell is "4"?

um... How Night Shades it's a flop if it had their bigger hit? #Oop.
