Parachute’s last entry in the top 150 list. Over-all they had three entries which mirror how I loved the music the band has released this year.
TRAIN
"Marry Me" Days: 71 Peak: 5
Very touching music video combined with Pat’s soothing voice. May not be as big as Hey, Soul Sister and If It’s Love, but I still like their sound on this song.
THERE FOR TOMORROW
" Hunt Hunt Hunt" Days: 72 Peak: 7
I am still listening to this song up to now. An evidence of how this song’s longevity in my daily countdown. Hoping for nothing else but greatness for this band, I want them to release more singles/albums in the future.
DAVID GUETTA feat. FLO RIDA & NICKI MINAJ
" Where Them Girls At" Days: 80 Peak: 10
David Guetta chose the right people to collaborate with in this track. I actually find Nicki’s verse the best! This is not the last entry from this guy, guess what is the other one?
I actually ignored this track despite seeing this in a lot of personal countdowns. But after I tried to listen to it, I was surprised since it was good. The chorus was really catchy.
NICKI MINAJ
" Super Bass" Days: 80 Peak: 4
Overrated? Yes! But still like it.
LAUREN ALAINA
" Like My Mother Does" Days: 24 Peak: 1 (4)
Even though she was not my favorite contestant from this year’s American Idol, I actually loved her performance of this song in the finale especially during the moment when she hugged her mom. It grew on me a lot even reaching the summit of my daily countdown for four days.
BEYONCE
" Love On Top" Days: 75 Peak: 2
One of the songs that I really loved from Beyonce this year. Plus she really looked very pretty in this music video.
I had no idea who Brad Paisley was until he released this track with Carrie. This song deserved an award for favorite country vocal and duet.
INCUBUS
" Promises Promises" Days: 61 Peak: 2
Incubus scores an entry in this year’s top 150 list, thanks to this awesome track. I like the music video and it’s vibe, very relaxing. I need them to release more songs next year.
