yeah i think it was actually confirmed awhile back by Nelly herself that I Am wouldn't be on the album, and from what I've heard, i can sort of understand why.... It is a very good song, reminds me of some of her earlier stuff like "I'm Like A Bird" , but it doesn't really fit into the new feel of this album.... the songs all seem to be heavily R&B influenced, and this doesn't fit in really.... it'll probably be a B-side...

I've heard about the singles already. Good move, though. "Promiscuous" will easily blow up in the states and "Maneater" will do the same everywhere else.

This album looks to be the best of '06 and biggest of her career. It'll be hard to pass the 7 Million "Whoa, Nelly" sold but I know it'll happen.

I agree, its gonna be great.

And yes, although "I Am" is awesome, its just not as Hip-Hop/Whatever as her new stuff.

I heard "Promiscuous" and hated it. I hope the rest of the album is better, cus IMO "Promiscuous" is an ugly song.

Maneater kills Promiscuous. It's not even close.

Of course, because Timbaland is involved, it gets released in the states and not Maneater.

So are we EVER going to get "Maneater"?

Maneater was also produced by Timbo, or at least one of his proteges.

Timba is prominently involved in Promiscuous, though, whereas in Maneater, Nelly gets full billing. That's what I meant.

Really?? Woohoo.. This is great that the US is slowly picking it up without any real promotion happening...

I think No Hay Igual will probably just be like a promo single type thing to get hype built up, but Promiscuous will be the official 1st single from the album, which will make it blow up even more (in the USA, that is)

"Maneater" really does need to be the first single, but "Promiscuous" is good. It would be a shame if "I Am" didn't make the album though.
