In Canada the album went up +106 places to go to #16.
In Finland it re-enters the top 40 and gets a new peak position to be at# 21
In USA, it sold +15,000 selling 75,000 and going at #12.
In Austria, itreenters to #55
In Germany the album reenters at #80
France goes up to #104....up 37 places.

Hips is a great song!

Top 20 in canada its like 3000 copies
Top 20 in finland are like 1000 copies
top 50 in Austria are like 1,500 copies
and top 80 in Germany are like 2000 copies... so if Germany and USA are two of the 4th biggest Markets worldwide, and in Japan Oral Fixation is selling less than 2000 copies... so almost your 75% of sales are from USA since there wasnt a big impact in Latin American countries because of her re-release

it also went up in spain........ they havent released the re-release everywhere yet...... yet she has USA now has her biggest shot to sell


1. they need to make "Hips Dont Lie" a big hit
2. she need to release a good second single.... "hey you" will do the trick
3. if the album sells 50k plus in USA for 4 or 5 more weeks it will sell 1 million.... and maintain to hold it till the holidays........thanksgiving/ Christmast........ could go 2x platinum

Shakira has not re-released her album in Latin America, Europe (only spain), Asia, or Africa.

Only USA, Canada, Spain...and some other tiny little countries....in the usa, this pat week it sold over 75,000...meaning the rest was sold in those mentioned countries and the original version.

so 100K copies sold are quite right at the end...

The re-release was released in Colombia. No idea if other Latin American countries but it was in Colombia and it was in the top 10 in Tower Records forgot what place though lol. not number 1 though...
