Please. Just ignore all labels and supposed praise. Open your ears. She sounds terrible in that video. And you may say, oh you can make a vid like that for anyone. Not quite as true, but let me say this. Look at the recommended videos. Go to one that shows what her stans view as her best. It's a mess.
Put all the subjective aside, such as soul and **** like that. Look at the objective. Christina can barely do what she calls belting in the fifth octave anymore. She strains on C5s now. Even Rihanna doesn't really strain on C5s. Her technique is terrible. High larynx, strained throat, no resonance or vibrato. Her natural roof is Eb5 tbh. Anything above is a mess. But years of singing beyond her natural limit has receeded that limit to C5. Christina has natural gift, but she's misused it almost of a state beyond repair. She can't be the "Voice of a Generation" if she can't use her voice properly and can barely belt into the fifth octave. I hope her new vocal lessons do her some good.

I honestly don't understand much about C5s or Eb5s or vibratos or whatever, not really the reason I love her. Her voice and her tone is truly something spectacular and the soul and emotion that you can hear in her performances is what matters to me. We could go on and on, but it all comes down to personal preferences. I do still think these type of videos can be biased as hell.
I'll give you this, though. Beyoncé is certainly more consistent than Christina when it comes to live performances.
