Lady Gaga is someone who I believe people grasped on to because she was bringing back the larger than life megastar that we had lost somewhere after the golden age of the music industry. She embodied every aspect of a megastar inside and outside the music industry. Whether in fashion, music, personal life, etc. She helped bring back the star who was larger than life. And I think that's where people fell in love with her for. She now, has sorta lost the luster since her glory days of the fame and fame monster, but I'm sure she'll get it back. People are still VERY interested.

Yes. she didn`t lose popularity she kind oh have the same ammount. Her next album should make her even bigger because she probably knows the mistakes she has done this era.
She is also the only popstar, together with Britney that have a devoted fanbase. Don`t take me wrong we have the Navy, kit kats and all of that but when you think of devoted fans, those who are going to stay hours waiting for you in front of your hotel, who will make you win every possible award, GaGa is the biggets and will keep her position for a long time...
