This is why I stan for Bulbasaur, obviously everyone goes for Charmander based on what he becomes in the future (if they are strong enough to get him there). And even then, that doesnt mean their Charizard will be a strong one (cackle). Squirtle is great, I have nothing against him, but people only like him because he is considered "cool."
Bulbasaur is perfect, smart, loyal, strong, and dependent. Not to mention he is first starter Pokemon Ash caught on his own and he is probably the strongest grass type in any region if trained correctly.
But Bulbasaur is ugly, Ivysaur is ugly, and Venasaur is ugly.
But Squirtle and Charmander are cuter. Plus Bulbasaur takes for-****ing-ever to train. That's too much dedication for me. I'd rather just raise a Blastoise or a Charizard.
