It's about fantasizing over someone and imagining what you would do to them if you had the chance to do it. She's laughing with herself, smiling and playing around in glee. It's what you do when you find love.
There is no meaning. It's supposed to support her semi-badass image and infuse it with the cute-love-dancepop-song that is You Da One in the same video. Nothing less, nothing more.
honestly how do you go from the epic WFL to this...I was excited when I heard about the clockwork orange tribute (loved the book and the movie...while they were definitely cringeworthy)
but this video doesn't even deserve a full view...I actually just skimmed through it...it's dull and boring
There is no meaning. It's just Rihanna awkwardly gyrating against the backdrop of some random things haphazardly thrown together: those fashion photos posted in SYG, A Clockwork Orange, the Rude Boy video. Which wouldn't be a bad thing (it's just a mv after all) if it wasn't put together in such a clumsy way.
After WFL I was hoping Rihanna had stepped forward as the popstar who would now be serving great music videos, but this is such a huge step back that WFL might have been a fluke.
