I like them. I'm not too sure on the reggae tracks, because they all sound the same. I also think that there should have been more uptempos on there, but I'd say that this is a pretty solid second album, and better than her first. They're missing one song, "No Looking Back".
I think it's much better than her first album.I really love the song "Unfaithful".She performed it on AOL,and she sounds really good.I think it's live, but I'm not sure.Check it out.
I'm going to say exactly what I said at another forum. I can't decide whether to regret listening to those clips or be thankful that I did before I brought the album.
The album is just...alright. It reminds me of "Music Of The Sun". But unlike MOTS, there is only one up-tempo track. The rest is balladry (mostly good ones though), light reggae (none which caught my attention except Kisses Don't Lie), an obvious future single, "We Ride", and 2 singles from her debut album.
I guess I was expecting a really hot album by Rihanna after Ne-yo's "In My Own Words" was released from Def Jam. I was wrong. Jay-Z really isn't ready for his position as head of Def Jam.
I heard the clips...I love "We Ride" but "Final Goodbye" is gonna be my absolute favorite for sure...It's a ballad but it's the most different sounding record she's got on this album thus far..but like everyone else...we must wait till April 25th to fully judge!!
Dem Haters, Crazy Thing Called Love and Selfish Girl sound like they have the same beat. After Unfaithful, she needs to release We Ride and close off with Kisses Don't Lie. She needs to not add singles from the past album but Let Me, and That La,La,La or unreleased tracks. What happened to Break it Off, Twice My Age, Hurricane? C'MON PEOPLEE!!!! Ballads are nice, But Dance tracks are what blow up! Break it Off would have been a hit.
Oh and on a side note i head "Unfaithful' on Z100 before and they bleeped out gun when she says "Put a gun up to his head" lol... what else could be in the pause in the song???
