There's no point calling him a crackhead, even if its true, as it does not invalidate his talent. He's a decent singer, a good songwriter, and he has the appeal and charisma.
Bob Dylan is the single most influential musician in history and he did all types of drugs. The Beatles is the single most successful musical act and all the members used all types of drugs. I'm not justifying drug use, I'm just saying that using drugs doesn't make any artist any less capable. As far as I'm concerned, he didn't miss any day in the X-Factor, he rehearsed every week, and he delivered most of the time.
But it is such a shame if he really did go back. But i'm still behind him.
