What a week this has been for Britney: She gets engaged, her 1st husband trashes her relationship with current fiance Jason Trawick, and Justin Timberlake speaks out about Britney and the "Cry Me A River" song....9 years later.

Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Slams Engagement to Jason Trawick
For 55 hours back in 2004, Britney Spears was married to Jason Alexander. The childhood pals said "I do" on a whim at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, only to have their union annulled less than three days later.
Last Friday, Us Weekly broke the news that Spears, 30, was engaged to beau of over two years Jason Trawick. While ex-hubby Kevin Federline told Australia's TV Week magazine he was "really happy" for the mom of his two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, Alexander wasn't exactly thrilled about the pop star's big news.
"I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not," Alexander, who is currently training for the World of MMA fighting competition, told Us exclusively. "I think it's fake and I think people are afraid to say it."

"If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection," he added. "They look like they are going through the motions. It seems like a answer to the court thing." (The singer is currently under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears; Trawick once served as the star's manager.)
"Sort of a nice way to sew it all up she marries her handler," Alexander sniped. "That way she always has someone controlling her. It's sort of sad."
Suddenly, a VH1 Documentary about Timbaland airs with Justin guest-appearing on it as one of the commentators. JT reflected on the production of "Cry Me A River" and how it all came to be. What led to the production of CMAR? JT attended a show at Britney's smash tour DREAM WITHIN A DREAM TOUR where from what he said, she "dissed him."
Quote:
In producer Timbaland's new E! True Hollywood Story, Timberlake talks about why he recorded Cry Me A River. Though he never explicitly says Britney's name, we can read between the lines. Justin said: "I was on a phone call that was not the most enjoyable phone call. I walked into the studio and he (Timbaland) could tell I was visibly angry."
Timbaland says "He went to a concert and saw Britney, and Britney talked about him in the show and he was pissed. I was like, 'Man, don't worry about it' and he was like, 'I can't believe she did that to me' and he was like, 'You were my sun, you were my earth...'
We're talking about 2002 here folks; early-mid 2002 to be precise.

LAS VEGAS — In the city of sin, Britney Spears behaved.
There was no dissing of Justin Timberlake during the opening night of the second leg of the Dream Within a Dream Tour. No cigarette smoking. No ... whatever vice the rumor mills have her doing this week.
Things may have changed in Britney's well-chronicled life since the last time we saw her onstage — and that's only if you believe the gossip — but there were no signs of it Friday at Mandalay Bay. The 20-year-old headliner was the same pop princess she was at 19.
After digging deeper, the only thing that surfaced that could have rubbed JT the wrong were songs such as "Mystic Man" she added to the 2nd leg. Did JT not like the song?

And you make her shine
Baby, gave you heart and soul
All you did was play a role...
Baby boy now you are gone
Oh, Mystic Man, tell me who are you today?
Oh Mystic Man
Do they know they’re all being played?
Oh Mystic Man
Baby, tell me what is this?
I’m out the door I can’t take no more of your....shhhh

So, basically, Justin Timberlake is talking about Britney Spears, once again,
when he doesn't need to be. And on top of that, what he said about Spears
"talking about him" is apparently not even true. He was maybe offended
by some random added song on her playlist during the Dream
Within A Dream Tour in 2002? Timberlake just continues to
look desperate when ever he alludes to or mentions
Spears. He needs to let her go and move on.
That first husband Timberlake
You can clearly see Britney's huge smile when she's with him and the guy looks like she loves her back. That nobody needs to take several seats. He knows as much as we do anyway.
Why is that First husband still obsessed with her, didn't his own end after like 24 hrs
As for Justin, Britney should just sing Drake's "Shot for me" to him. This applies to Jason too
Quote:
I can see it in your eyes, you're angry
Regret got **** on what you're feeling now
Mad cause she ain't like me
Oh you mad cause nobody ever did it like me
All the care I would take, all the love that we made
Now you're trying to find somebody to replace what I gave to you It's a shame you didn't keep it: Justin, Jason I know that you gon hear this:
I'm the babe Yeah I said it dummy i'm the babe Don't you forget it
The way you walk, that's me
The way you talk, that's me
The way you've got your hair cut, did you forget that's me?
And the voice in the speaker right now, that's me, that's me
And the voice in your ear, that's me Can't you see
that I made it? yeah I made it
First I made you who you are, then I made it
And you're wasted with your homies
Yeah I'm the reason why you always getting faded take a shot for me!
Foxay my darling, please never change. Perfect post yet again, exposing the Britpussy-pressed nature of one Mr. Timberlake and those in his inner circle.
The Exhale CSI team looked up the YouTube videos, went through the MTV news archive, etc. for all of this. I would pay good money to hear that phone call. What did she say to make Justin go nuts like that, I need to know.

So you had two songs written about you recently.
What?!
Well, Justin Timberlake did "Cry Me A River" and Fred Durst came out with "Just Drop Dead". Is there something about you that makes guys want to write nasty songs about you?
I think guys have egos, and when their egos get hurt and their pride's messed up, they deal in weird ways. And, um, I don't know, man. I really don't know. It's made me really weary of guys, I'll put it that way.
I don't want to talk about this at length, but when Justin Timberlake put out his song and video, and then later started talking publicly about your relationship, how did you react? Were you pissed off? Were you hurt?
I think I was in shock, to be honest. I didn't know what to say, what to do. That was the last thing I ever thought somebady might do. I was really shocked shitless. But you live and you learn.
Did you call him up or say anything to him?
Well, actually, [laughs] he called [laughs]. I'm gonna break it down right now, OK? You want the scoop? You want the truth? Here it is. He called me up and asked me if it was OK. I can't believe I'm telling you this right now. But who cares.
He called me up and wanted to get back together or whatever, but behind it was, "And by the way, you're in a video that's coming out." That kind of slipped in. "Don't worry about it. It's not a big deal." So the record label called and said, "If you want to change this, you can." I had the power to say no to the video. But I didn't because I thought, "Hey, it's your video."
Had you seen it?
I hadn't seen it. Then it came out and I said, "I should've freakin' said no to this ****!" I was like, "Whoa! What is going on right now?" But, hey. And I said, "Why did you do this?" And he goes, "Well, I got a controversial video." And I was like, "You did! [claps her hands, as if a dog that just preformed a trick.] Yay for you!" So he got what he wanted. I think it looks like such a desperate attempt, personally. But that was a great way to sell the record. He's smart [laughs]. Smart guy.
Britney is a bad bitch. She gets more of my respect for turning down that Timbaland/Justin collaboration in 2007. They just wanted to say they gave her her comeback, that she owes it to them. I remember people saying at the time that she was stupid because they were sure to give her a sure hit. I'm proud she made her comeback on her own.

So true! It's amazing that Justin stays pressed after all these years, when he was the one that got his public revenge. Maybe it's because Britney was the one who ultimately got to end the relationship on her terms?

I remember calling her an idiot for turning it down at the time.
But now in retrospect, I see that if she made a comeback with that collab, it would've been heavily credited to Justin and Timbo. If anything, it would've overshadowed her.

Exaaaaaactly, and princess Brinny new that!
When I think of Nelly Furtado's 'comeback' Timbaland's image also pops up. You got to do it on your own.

Exactly. He obtained the 'critical acclaim' that he desperately sought out for, meanwhile Britney saw her worse years afterward.
I wonder sometimes about him and women. If he would have just been true to his feelings about JC none of this would have ever happened.
