I'll hopefully have the Hot 100 and 200 late Tuesday. Enjoy.
Nice, "Dani California" debuted at the same positions that Pearl Jam did last month, except the song's actually good.
Are the Modern and Mainstream Rock charts actually going to be visible on the website this time around? (BESIDES #1, #2, #11 and #12.) That would be quite nice.
Seether and Three Days Grace
That H.I.M. song just won't die. How lame.
I agree. Although PJ's "Worldwide Suicide" is a good 4/5 rock tune, it just doesn't live up to the expectation or the hype associated with a lead single from them.
While RHCP is bam, right in the kisser. Solid stuff.
Red Hot Chili Peppers just seem like they're cashing a paycheck by offering a single we've heard at least 4 times in the past few years.
The exact same thing can be said for Pearl Jam.
But I'll admit that them debuting at #2 is much more respectable than Linkin Park doing the same in 2003. That was a travesty.
Am I lost, or wasn't Pearl Jam's last Modern Rock single "Last Kiss"? I am usually out of it, but I don't recall hearing anything new from them in that long.
And would it kill ya to show info on the other charts?

You're lost. They actually released their last album back in 2002, Riot Act, with songs like "I Am Mine" and "Save You", and they had another album released in 2000 called Binaural. Don't worry, there are others like you too.
And I want to severely smack someone in this thread...and no, it's not Smash.
Is it Froggert? Eh, probably not, he needs more than a smack... It's not my fault "World Wide Suicide" is boring.
Anyways, new Tool next week? I guess we'll be the first ones to hear it besides Lt. Smash, who claims to have heard it on Sirius. Yeah, sure.
Boring my ass.
"Vicarious" still isn't up on FMQB and that's usually where I first hear many songs. They better put it up soon or my fist shaking will grow in intensity.
Yep, I've heard Vicarious at least twice on Alt Nation, although none recently. It's pretty typical, but even typical is decent for them. But with recent critically acclaimed albums by The Mars Volta and Coheed & Cambria, I think Tool may have lost their edge in the Prog-rock world. Or at the least are fighting an uphill battle. But you can bet the lead single will have an impact on the Modern charts. And their fan base almost guarantees a #2 or #1 debut for the CD. Pearl Jam fans might buy a few copies of their new one.
You haven't heard any new Tool. It would be all over the net, but it's not. Whatever you heard was probably an old song of theirs, possibly a b-side or something from Opiate, but it was not "Vicarious". That's just stupid. I can simply say that I've heard the new AFI single "Miss Murder", from Alt Nation as well, just like that. But I'm not gonna feed anybody a bunch of ******** lies. Where is your proof that you've heard it? I was just on a Tool forum and nothing from the album has leaked yet. Even Billboard.com says it is out on April 17th. So, whatever.
