Not really. Lots of people discount songs, and most songs get remixed with rap verses. There's no way we can prove they're only doing those things to get #1.
If they don't get #1 (which they probably won't), they'll all just carry on their lives as normal. It won't be a big deal. NOBODY will be upset with 5 #1s and a #4 single off an album. That's absolutely fantastic. I hope someday my favourite (Rihanna) can get 5 #1s and a #4 from their album.
