I Just want to congrats mariah, this day is the anniversary of one of the most important album in recent years, the emancipation of mimi, mariah prove why she became the biggest artist of the 90s and why shes one of the best selling artists EVER.

Im so proud of her because she never stop believe in herself and she dont let the media destroy her amaizing career.. GO MIMI theres a lot more to come for her, shes just starting...

Excellent album, probably the 3rd best album of 2005 for me. It's great to see it so close to the 10 Million mark.

80's music

I love Mariah but this MIMI alter ego gotta go...She is by far one of the most defining artist of our time but she waste her legacy on portraying herself as, what I call, "RACE TRACK BARBIE". I am "SO SICK", like Ne-Yo, of all the skimpy outfits and those wanna be sex kitten gestures!!! She is better than that..leave it to the young, less accomplished girls on the come up to do that...Mariah..I challenge you...please get back to what makes you classic..the simple black dress and that voice(which is still flawless). Musically, you are still a winner, even through "Glitter"(which was a great album), but visually you lose by looking like someone's momma trying to be young and sexy.....Re-think the image cause noone buys it( not even the true fans...they love her too much say anything)...You've got tooooo much ability, you don't need to go the route of the younger set of whom you've influenced....There will be another diva after you to carry the torch..that's evolution...but there will never be another Mariah.. Allow yourself to age gracefully..Like GREAT ART!!!..With that congrats on the Emancipation doing very well..I know Mariah you have said it's your most successful record to date. It is not the statistics show it's "Music Box" is, but I am glad you are happy...As a fan..I wanna say "Music would not be the same without you"..Love..80's Music
