Is it necessary? Of course not. I think I will get married though, at least in a legal union. I consider myself atheist so I don't feel obligated to have a big ceremony in a church.
No it's not, I want to do it but at least not now, maybe in 6-7 years but not I wannna enjoy my freedom and do many things before doing something as important as getting married.
