I was a huge fan & supporter of Kiley Dean while Beat Club Records was still up. Her music was excellent and the "Simple Girl" album, which was never released, was so close to pop perfection that it was actually overwhelming for me to listen to. All the other tracks recorded that were going to be released after the original "Simple Girl" was scrapped were also extremely hot. It amazes me that so many potential hits have gone to waste. Once Timbaland shut down the label, I thought he retired. I was wrong seeing as her started a new label and has Nelly Furtado, Keri Hilson, D.O.E.(formerly of Beat Club), and possibly Nicole Kea (of PCD) on it. Totally disrespectufl to Kiley, IMO, but I'm supporting 3 of the 4 artists on his new label. I'd like to know what happened.
But anyway, I heard her new single, "Who I Am", and it's excellent. It's not a crossover song likemost of her past material but it can easily blow up on Pop radio if promoted correctly.
