No one can say she is going to flop next year, until she actually does flop next year. GL flopped because RCA is awful, Avril isn't the only artist they've ruined. I say give the new album a chance. The Runners produced California King Bed, which I always thought would make a great Avril song.

Look at Rihanna's Rated R, it was her least succesfull record, though it had a decent single, Rude Boy, (GL, WTH), she released another album exactly a year later & she's huge now. I have hugh hopes.

Avril is at a crucially tough point in her career. People are sick of her returning to her same old musical roots, but no one wants her to make a generic dance-pop record either. What does everyone want from her? It's going to be interesting to see how she and Epic can pull it off.
