Simon is all about controversy, he's open about it. That's one of the main factor that fuels the British version of the show to be so popular and since the US isn't as big on tabloids as the UK is, they have to work extra hard to create controversy. I honestly think Simon's camp sells all of these stories to the media.
I don't think this is true. Her being a judge this season, then the host for next season seems a a bit odd to me. I do think Steve Jones needs to go. He is no Ryan Seacrest.
