Do you think Nicki Minaj got some of her urban fans back?
After the release of two buzz singles that are fully urban do you think she's gained back some of the fans that might of strayed when Nicki started releasing Pop music as well?
Yes. If she gets these epic hoodrat rap songs through a good chunk of the album, get a few pop Nicki smashes in there, and a few mainstream pop-radio-friendly hip-hop songs like Moment 4 Life in there, she could open to PF numbers in the middle of February.
Rihanna makes dub, hip-hop, house, latin, etc songs, but she's still a pop artist.
wait where did Rihanna come from? but anyway to address that nicki already said there will multiple genres on this album so i'm sure we'll get a dubstep, rock&r&b song as well

They were giving you an example of an artist showing off multiple genres but still being housed under a main genre.

It's just an example.
Yes, she'll probably have many different genres on the album.
Anyway, no hate. I do like the music we've received thus far. It gives me pre-Beam Me Up Scotty teas.
Rihanna's dub songs are still pop. Rihanna's hip-hop songs are still pop. Rihanna's house songs are still pop.
RIM and SH are not pop at all.
Not all of them. "Rockstar 101" isn't pop. "Man Down" isn't pop. "Red Lipstick" isn't pop. It all depends on the songs. But her main genre is still pop. The same goes for Nicki and pop-rap.
