Metacritic: 94
Yeah it is a 2010 album. So what?
Yes people, Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is my album of the year. I don't really care for his music before but one day, I tried to listen to Power and his Illuminati tricks work on me. I download his album and it was FREAKING DOPE! The album starts with Dark Fantasy, where you will hear a narration from Nicki Minaj with her British accent and then you will finally hear the song that features pop culture references like Leona Lewis and Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire. Gorgeous featuring Kid Cudi samples some familiar beat and once again, he used some references like 30 Rock and Alec Baldwin. His first single, POWER, samples 21st Century Schizoid Man and it really worked out together with the chant. The music video painting is really an extraordinary Illuminati work. All of The Lights features a lot of artist from Rihanna to Elton John. The song is about dealing with betrayal and absence of a father's presence. Monster is a one of a heck monster song featuring killer verses from Kanye, Jay Z and Nicki Minaj. So Appaled features a lot of cuss and curse and rappers who talk about their swag. Devil In A New Dress talks about heartache and lust using some sexual and religion symbols. Runaway, his second single, has that amazing production and lyrics contains about him being a douche, an asshole, and a jerk off. He also talk about the leak of his penis on the internet. Hell of A Life tells a story about marrying a **** star and how he is letting go of drugs and the things that he will going to need are ***** and religion. According to some critics, it's about Kanye trying erase the lines between fantasy and reality, sex and romance, and love and religion. Blame Game contains a story of two lovers having a love quarrel. It also features a skit of Chris Rock blaming Kanye for what his girl transform to. The last track, Lost In The World, my favorite track in the album, contains production, lyrics, and that cool auto tuned vocals of Bon Iver. This track features being excluded from the society and that dream to escape the reality. It connects to the track Who Will Survive in America which contains the speech of Gil Scott-Heron "Comment #1", a speech that criticizes America and its society. The chant and the tribal drums are just too perfect to resist. At first, I wonder why people are so hyped about this and most of the websites call this as one of the greatest album of this time. No wonder because of its extraordinary production of Mr. West and his friends. I still can't believe that Grammy snubbed this one at the Album of the Year category. They are a big mess.

Top 10 Movies (#08)
FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
 | Rio
Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Leslie Mann, George Lopez, Jermaine Clement, Rodrigo Santoro, Jamie Foxx, will.i.am, Tracy Morgan, Jake T. Austin
Director: Carlos Saldanha
Writers: Don Rhymer, Joshua Sternin, Jeffrey Ventimilia, Sam Harper (Original Screenplay)
Rotten Tomatoes: 72%
IMDb: 7.0
This is my animated movie of the year. Sorry Pixar but Cars 2 sucks ass. Rio is about a domestic blue macaw named Blu (voiced by Eisenberg) who is already contented with his life with his owner Linda (Mann) until suddenly, an ornithologist named Tulio (Santoro) begged Linda to go to Rio with her pet to spread the breed of Blu's species. When they got into Rio, Blu met another blue macaw named Jewel (Hathaway) who is a free spirited bird. They are abducted by a group of smugglers with the help of the big cockatoo Nigel (Clement). They can easily escape but there is a problem, Blu can't fly. I really love this movie because of its humor, the voice over work of the cast and especially, the scene of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The songs also are perfect for the film like Lemme Take You To Rio, Hot Wings (I Wanna Party), and many more. I love this movie more when they released an Angry Birds version that features the story of Rio. The movie is so colorful and it really suit for both young and adult watchers. Too bad it's not gonna be nominated at the Oscars. Hope I am wrong.

Rio surprised me a lot. It's a decent movie.
You're such a hipster for putting Kanye on your #1 albums list. I'm not mad though.

and My Guess for #1 was CORRECT
This album is such a musical journey to listen ...Nicki opening and Gil Scott Heron closing it...what could be more epic???
P.S. Teyanna Taylor is giving me soo much life of the Dark Fantasy track where she imitates Alicia Keys vocal harmonies....
