The band's 11th studio album is slated for 2011. The title is as yet unnanounced. The album is supposed to be highly experimental. (Dero will be rapping for the first time and also singing operatically.) They worked out nearly 60 songs for the album, but the exact number that made it onto the album has not been made clear at this time.[8]
Flux announced on October 8th 2011, on the official Oomph! facebook page that recording of the new album will be finished by the end of November and the first single will be released in March 2012, the album will be released by the end of the same month. Dero also said that after so much time, only 20 tracks will be chosen and then they will select the best of them, either 12 or 14 will be selected. A tour will commence soon after.
Announced on the bands official website, the new album will be titled Des Wahnsinns fette Beute (Fat Booty of Madness) and will be released in Spring, 2012. Oomph! are scheduled to play at the Nova Rock Festival in Austria on June 10th, 2012 followed by a European tour to support the album that will start in September, 2012. Country's confirmed so far are Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain.
