I've been putting off listening to Mylo Xyloto and Wounded Rhymes for too long, but now that they got included on this list, I might give them a chance
Back with an update before I go to work. If only the Prophet, Tebow, played for the Lake Erie Monsters then we would never have to fear losing. The Prophet predicts a 33-30 score on Sunday against New England. Denver will score outscore the Pats 17-3 in the 4th quarter and overtime.
BTW, Jacksonville is the most confusing team in the league.
Oh, you want music too? Not just a football update? This will be a very '80s block.

"Holy Ghost!" by Holy Ghost!
A band that was discovered at an LCD Soundsystem concert last year, and who EP placed very high on the 2010 list. Turns out their full album is just as great! Holy Ghost is loving the 80s revival brought on by Gaga, this album reeks of disco. They would have never gotten away with that last decade.

"Siberia" by Lights
Love what this girl is doing. A little bit of indie pop (I know that is a paradox) and light electronica put together with her voice is a recipe for a great album! Alot of people recommended her first album to me, and I stubbornly refused. Bad idea! As that album is great too. I suspect that anyone on this board would like this.

"Balls Out" by Steel Panther
Not for the ladies or weak hearted. Every year there is an artist who I hear at the last second and skyrockets up the chart. Welcome, Steel Panther. Steel Panther is a simultaneous parody and homage to the glam metal and lifestyle of the 80s. But my words can do them no justice. Here are some lyrics from various songs on the album. "Remember this when you're having fun, three holes are better than a hole in one." "A six foot rattlesnake just bit me below the belt, get on your knees and help me please cause it won't suck itself" "and many more just like it!
God has been getting back at the Patriots for years after Videogate and 16-0. Tebow will be the messenger that will smite the Patriots permanently.
On the other hand, God refuses to smite Steel Panther and Lights, for they bring too much enjoyment and fun. Hell, I've heard that Tim Tebow's favorite musician is Lights. /notreallybutitexplainswhythatalbumissogood
Steel Panther! They are fun. I remember they were going to make a Comedy Central pilot (produced by Brian Posehn), but I guess it didn't go to series. Oh well! Nice choice!
Only a few hours until The Prophet Tebow unleashes all of his righteous fury upon the New England Patroit's defense. Hopefully I'll be home from work in time to see it.
A musical update is needed. Once again, 2011 was so stacked that any of the albums could have been top 10 or 20 in other years.

"The Hunter" by Mastodon
When an album has songs called "Blasteroid" and "Stargasm" than we will definitely take notice. Didn't hurt that this was Mastodon's comeback from a rather weak "lastalbumwhateverthe****itwascalled". I'm still not entirely sure what a burl is. Wikipedia says it is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. Not sure if that has anything to do with killing a man for killing your goat, but who am I to argue with wikipedia?
23.
"Angles" by The Strokes
Rather than fighting against an inferior previous album, The Strokes were fighting against a very long break between albums. Lucky for us they haven't lost a step! Strokes try some new things, but it's vintage Stroke songs like "Under Cover of Darkness", "You're So Right", and "Taken For A Fool" that make "Angles" so great.
22.
"Circuital" by My Morning Jacket
How are MMJ only #22? They are one of the best bands going right now. MMJ took a step back from the verihyper "Evil Urges" to go back to their southern roots. They could do a disco album for all I care. Everything MMJ touches turns to gold. I miss the bananas!
As a special treat, I'll leave you with a Holiday message from Bill Goldberg.
I love how he cleans the stripper pole before using it as a deadly weapon. This movie is seriously underrated.
Great set, O! That MMJ album is tremendous. I also like the Strokes' album. I haven't listened to the Mastodon a lot, but I really liked their previous two (even the one you can't remember the name of!). I should give that more of a chance.
So Team Tebow lost today, playing well in the first quarter, but none of the rest. The Prophet has gone quiet, but I'll continue this list even without him!

"Turtleneck and Chain" by The Lonely Island
Since everyone has seen the "Jack Sparrow" video a thousand times I'll give you guys "Jack Sparrow" again. Why? Because it is that great. This takes the cake for funniest musical album of the year. And just about every song has a hilarious video to go along with it. Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Michael Bolton, Akon, among others all contribute to this wonderful masterpiece of comedy.
20.
"All Day" by Girl Talk
If you haven't heard of Girl Talk yet then get educated right now. We start with a mashup of "War Pigs" "Move Bitch" and "Empire State of Mind". Playing all of these songs at once would cause brain hemorrhaging, but Girl Talk manages to make it into a perfectly sensible half of a song. That's right, it is only half. Girl Talk does what he does best here, as well as the rest of the album. Listen to it all at once if possible.
19.
"Velociraptor" by Kasabian
Kasabian still makes music! I had no idea. Turns out the stuff they've done since the mighty "LSF" is great too! One of the most pleasant surprises of the year right here. "Velociraptor", "Let's Roll Just Like We Used To", "I Hear Voices' (not Randy Orton's theme song), and "Re-wired" are the albums highlights.
Since a couple people actually care about wrestling I can post something about it. CM PUNK! It was obvious he'd win, but towards the end I was starting to doubt it myself, being handcuffed to the ring and all. And Daniel Bryan! Really made up for a weak Smackdown title match.
Why don't we talk more?! You always have songs I rarely know... and I miss that.
You're reminding me how I haven't kept up with most of the stuff I used to be into -_- Well, before I post, I need to listen to all, since ummm yeahhh, behind on a lot If nothing else, I'll mention all the artists I failed following.
Kelly and LIGHTS <3 Keep it coming, since I will comment on only 5% apparently
