I understand your position but what if she doesnt want to remain the biggest popstar in world ? Her fans are too obsessed with her success and it's not even funny anymore. It's scary. How can you be this obsessed with someone else achievement.
Most of you won't be happy until she comes out looking like this:
and sings about disco sticks again. Why? Because then she'll be as safe and basic as your (insert Dr. Luke girl) fave. Gaga needed to evolve. That's clear. Born This Way wasn't the evolution most of you wanted, but to say that one album DESTROYED Gaga's career and one era that has lasted less than 2 years is the cause of the "demise" of the biggest pop star on the planet is ridiculous and over sensationalized. The album sales speak for themselves. She's not an indie act and Interscope will step their foot in when necessary, but Gaga is NOT going back to The Fame era. Get over it.
Some of the newer members have a warped view of how Gaga was perceived on ATRL during TF/TFM.
She was the arrogant one with the small fanbase who couldn't debut at #1 like Britney, who had to keep desperately promoting and performing unlike Britney, whose 15 minutes started ticking when LG underperformed/flopped, who couldn't get a #1 album, who had to keep adding tourdates to have a hit tour, who gave a gross tampon commercial VMA performance, who couldn't get Paparazzi top 5 with all those high-profile performances, whose Bad Romance was a flop that couldn't debut at #1 like Britney and got owned by Tik Tok, whose TFM artwork was ugly and scary and not colorful like TF, who put out videos that were too long and stopped being fun like TF.

TOY was definately a risk. To some extent even TOTGA was (considering Katys goal was to get the #1). Hell I've even seen people say I Kissed A Girl was risky because it was controversial.
Oh and let's not pretend that every Gaga song was "risky" You And I was the only that was actually a risk. The others, although some may not have been the perfect choice, weren't risky.

that comment goes against what everybody else is saying
No, electropop songs are almost guaranteed hits. She's the least risky of them all.
I'd like to see Lady Gaga release something like Hollaback Girl, or Fergalicious, or Single Ladies, or Slave 4 U, or Give It To Me. Then I'd consider her risky.

I've read all those threads. With Startruck being the most obsessed Gaga stan.
You also forget to add having cigarette sunglasses and doing all of these, yes, "gimmicky" things that Gaga does is not true art. music is disposable, Bad Romance is a recycled poor version of Poker Face, her songwritting skills are not that impressive, she steals Roisin Murphy, Grace Jones, Madonna, she try too hard etc.
