Nick Lachey has decided on a title and release date for his second album: "What's Left of Me", due May 9. The title is the same as the first single, which recently hit the airwaves.

Nick Lachey will release his first post-Jessica Simpson breakup album, "Resolution," May 9 via Jive. First single "What's Left of Me," which premiered last month on AOL Music, is No. 39 this week on the Billboard Pop 100 chart and No. 70 on the Hot 100.

"Resolution" is the follow-up to Lachey's 2003 solo debut, "Soul O," which shifted just 171,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As first reported here Friday, Simpson is nearing completion on her new album, which will be her first for Epic following her shift from longtime label Columbia.

I have yet to hear it. All I've been hearing is him hooking up with Kristin Cavallari and Vanessa Manilo.

he'll never have the success he had with 98 degrees.. i doubt jessica will have much success either, not that she has. the only hit she had was 'newlyweds' her cds still flopped.

i actually love nick's new song, and i believe it'll surprise many by doing very well.

Her CDS didn't flop. . I don't think any of her CDs flopped actually. Her last studio album went triple platinum and her christmas cd even went gold . . .

I actually heard his new song on XM Top 20 on Friday. I thought it was pretty awesome. I didn't know it was him until halfway through the song when I pushed the "Display" button (satellite radio tells you song/artist information)

But with his current tabloid/magazine exposure, it'll probably generate a bigger chance for success during his next alblum. But I'm tired of hearing slow songs from him.

I love his new song.

i'm really pulling for this dude..he deserves some level of success at least..the new song sounds great..i really hope his album debuts big and has a good run on the charts..
