I don't think it will. The book has a massive fanbase. If that makes any sense. LOL.
The book spent over 13 weeks this year at #1 because it was re-released in Paperback.
I'm hoping it'll do above 40Million. Still don't know it's budget though.
Metamorphosis opened with 203k, Hilary Duff with 192k. They both went on to sell 3.9 million & 1.8 million respectively. You can't get much more consistant than that. Dignity was her only non-consistant album, opening with 140k & selling around 432k to date. But that album was dropped almost as soon as it came out.
I really wish Dignity 2 had been released. I would say, I hope HR doesn't treat Selena's fourth album like they did Hilary's fourth album, but Selena doesn't look to have any competition in the near future from other Disney stars, whereas Miley & the HSM gals were HR's top priority in 2007.
Hilary's numbers are great but I meant Selena's have all sold a similar amount (WTSGD is still catching up) while Hilary's tend to have a big difference but anyway I love them both and they both make great music. I hope Hilary finds a better label. I often wonder how much Hilary and Selena could have sold if they were on a great label like Interscope or Capitol.
