Thoughts? I've given the GOP candidates a chance and some of them have good policies! What are your thoughts?

Obama has the advantage in that there really isn't a clear-cut GOP candidate. McCain was the obvious one in the last election, but all of them are a little lukewarm this time around.

I like him as president. Much better than the last one.

If Newt Gingrich is the elected nominee, which is what it looks like right now, I think Obama is good enough to beat him. He's been through the campaign before plus that Gingrich guy isn't smart enough to give him real competition, is what I've read. Didn't some Republican celebrity just offer Gingrich a cool million to pull out of the race because he thinks he doesn't stand a chance?

Then again a lot of people are anti-Obama due to the economic crisis etc. Who knows, but it will be an exciting race for sure. If the GOP wins, America is doomed to keep going down the spiral and it will their own fault

The sitting President almost always wins. Not to mention the fact that every GOP candidate is ******* insane in at least five different ways. Gingrich is a serial liar, Romney can't think for himself and can't even pick a side to think for him, Perry is Perry, and Bachmann is Bachmann. Ron Paul is the least delusional candidate that has a chance of winning the nomination, but most Republicans don't like him. Huntsman is alright, but has a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

How you could see any good in the GOP nominations is beyond me. Any candidate with brains would wait until 2016 to run, which is why this batch is extra crazy.
