Bands/Artists from the 80's & early 90's you would like to see make a comeback

Since most of us were born during that time I thought there might be some artists/bands/groups that we liked when we were younger and thought they would have lasted longer or could make a decent combeack.

One group that I thought was awesome back in the day was Eternal. They were R'n'B/Pop and were massive here in the UK during the 90's. They consisted of:

* Easther Bennett (1993-9)
* Vernie Bennett (1993-9)
* Kellie Bryan (1993-8)
* Louise Nurding (1993-5)

You might recognise Louise from her solo career afterwards, she split from Eternal around the same time Robbie split from Take That. She married Jamie Redknap (footballer) and had hits including 'Naked' and 'Let's Go Round Again'.

Eternal had great hits incl. 'Stay', 'Just a Step from Heaven' and 'I Wanna Be the Only One' feat. BeBe Winans and had 4/5 albums.

I'd love to see them do a good comeback, I think they could fit in to the current R'n'B market with abit of modernising.

(I'd also like to see Heather Small from M People come back and... Aqua

with stuff like Turn Back Time and better.)

^Oh my gosh I haven't heard the name Fine Young Cannibals in ages! The Verve were pretty hot in the UK around the same time as Oasis and Blur and I agree too on the No Doubt comment.

Another I'd like to see Jennifer Paige comeback, many people might remember 'Crush' from her, it was on her self titled debut album (which I really liked and can still listen to), it was her second single. Her second album 'Postivitely Somewhere' didn't get much promotion and when she decided to leave her label they decided to release an unnecessary hits album. I heard she did some backing singing for Jessica Simpson or another starlet which sounded odd because she's capable of doing music for herself very well but unfortunately I haven't seen anything new from her.

(Also Tina Arena... she sings a lot in French now hence is still around but another 'Chains' would be awesome.)

I'd like to see:

Third Eye Blind (last album wasn't much in comparison to their first two from the 90's)
No Doubt (they need another album like Tragic Kingdom or Rock Steady)
Ace of Base (with some good hits like "the sign", "beautiful life", "all that she wants", and "don't turn around"....songs like that....)

I would say TLC, but i'm not so sure how they can fare without Lisa, i mean, yeah they had 3D and all but that's because they were working on it at the time of her death.... and i keep hearing that they aren't coming back, that they are, whatever...but i still can't decide whether they should continue on without her....part of me says yes, because i'm yearning for new music, and part of me says no, because i don't feel it's right.... oh well...whatever they decide is fine....
