She may have been announced as the top-earning woman in music for 2011, but Lady Gaga just topped another list that, well, she may not be as thrilled about. Readers of Billboard magazine have dubbed Mother Monster as "The Most Overrated Musician" of 2011!
Rounding out the top three behind Lady G are Britney Spears and Justin Bieber. It should be noted that Gaga scored 30% of the vote, with Spears pulling in 29% and the Biebs getting 21%. In other words ... it was a close race!
But not all Billboard readers are sipping on the Gaga "Hater-aide." The larger-than-life diva also came in second place in the "2011 MVP" category, won the "Best Fashion" poll and scored third place mentions in both the "Favorite Hot 100 No. 1" and "Favorite Billboard 200 No. 1" categories for her hit "Born This Way."
Finally Mother Monster's video for that blockbuster track won second place for "Best Music Video."
Adele imo has to be the most overrated (and overweighted) celeb of 2011. I'm not pressed. I can deal with Katy, Rih etc. but ADELE??? really? I've never liked her or her music and shes got nothing to offer. The bitch can sing... but why should I buy into Adele when there's, Beyonce for example....who is just so much more entertaining on the whole?
