one thing that I think we all forget sometimes is that promoting is ****ing hard work. I can't say that I know from experience, since, you know, I'm not a pop star, but it's really easy for us to clamor for more promo all the time - but we need to remember that it's just not that simple.

Katy's been touring for a long time now, I can't even imagine how tired she must be. And she has interviews, other non-performance appearances, travel, her family, etc. etc. And this is her SIXTH single.

Well it still is discounted, so it's only once.

The remix will have to sell about 80 K for TOTGA to go #1. In other words it'll have to go in the top 10 of itunes and stay there. They might be able to compensate if it also causes TOTGA to increase and if the remix actually gets airplay.
