I've already seen it in the media prescreen in Taiwan.
Bane was basically saying:
1. The meaning of mask toward him. Without it, he will in grave pain, however, it won't kill him anyway.
2. Although they were captured, but it's all part of the plain. Being capture was just the node of the plane hijack, and a way to make sure what information was their target divulging.
I strongly suggest you guys get your own IMAX experience with the trailer. Whole 6 mins were shot in full screen IMAX camera, and showcased the insane palette of Nolan's vision.
