First Rihanna, and now Teairra Mari.

http://www.teairra-online.com/, and Teairra's personal myspace have announced that she will be releasing her sophmore album on July 18th. They also say she will be releasing 2 singles before then. One in May, and one in June. I'm guessing its to give her more hype.

I'm actually excited for this, she has much more vocal talent than most young R&B stars on the current scene. Anyone who disagrees just need to listen to 'Phone Booth", which is a ballad that shows off her voice.

Anyways, thats all.

I liked her song "Daddy" but i didn't buy her album. Maybe i'll get her 2nd one.

Teairra Mari is alright at best. She doesn't write her music, she doesn't dance, and her voice isn't anything amazing but she can sing. Her album was good though. Alot of single material. "Phone Booth" was the album's weakest track, I have no idea how that was released as the 3rd single.

I hope Jay does her right this time around. But I don't blame him for failing the first time around. He just started as prez over at Def Jam at the time. He has introduced Ne-yo to the world and it looks like he'll be Usher's core competition. Ne-yo will of course win though since his ego won't get in the way, he can actually write songs, and he doesn't need to remove clothing to sell his album.

The same goes for Jay-Z's work on Rihanna. Going down the Pop route was a great idea. She'll definitely shine brightly there.

I didn't like her debut. It seemed like she tried to be too grown up & her lyrics were horrible. Hopefully she has better material this time. If "Phone Booth" shows off her voice, then that isn't saying anything. She can sing ok though. The only song I liked on her album is "Act Right".

Also, I don't know if it's a good idea to have the 2 singles that close. It can effect one of the songs airplay, and it's not like she gets major airplay anyway.

Her first album was just okay. Nothing special. I still think they should of released Stay In Ya Lane as a single.

I love No Daddy and I really think it should have been a bigger hit. And I just rewatched that DC tribute she did with Rihanna and Amerie and I thought she sounded great...I hope she gets more promotion this time around.

I never managed to like her. Like Simon Cowell would say, she doesn't have the "wow factor" LMAO.

Brian, they weren't lypsynching, so to speak. They were miming to a pre-recorded vocal, something that they did earlier in the day. Lay off them; everybody does it?

Oh, and by the way, Ne-Yo won't beat anybody at anything. He is the ugliest pop star that I have ever seen, and he's not that talented. LFR he'll be bigger than Usher. That's like me saying that the Girls will one day be bigger than the Spices were at their peak. I may want it to happen, but it won't?

I would have a better leg to stand on however, because the Girls are pretty and better singers. I don't think that Ne-Yo is good at being anything other than exceptionally ugly.

I hated her entire album besides "Phone Botth" and "Stay In Ya Lane" but hopefully like Rihanna, she'll come stronger the second time around.

Kidding aside (though I wasn't enitrely kidding ), what is wrong with Ne-yo? You say he's ugly, so what? Usher looks like a f'ing demon child, look how far he made it. Ne-yo's a great writer (Usher can't write) and he could sing without having to sing through his nose (Usher). But hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinion...

She's just a rejected version of lil kim. why is she a recording artist?
