The US numbers are weak, but that doesn't mean something is wrong with her career. Other countries are much more responsive to her albums.

I love Rihanna don't get me wrong but we got to stop finding excuses for her ! It ridiculous that she is unable to sell over 200K first week and she struggles to go Platinum ! She has hits after hits on radios and plenty of #1's and she promotes a lot (tours and performances)... She should be selling at least 400K first week no excuse
Yeah, you keep convincing yourself. Just look carefully at the numbers again. They don't match: album sales + airplay. Even a 10 year old kid can see it. Plain and simple.

1. Chart success (Hot 100)
2. Sell singles
3. Sell albums
4. #1 albums
5. Win awards
