If I didn't come to ATRL, I would have NO idea that the BTW era is "suffering." I've heard Marry the Night several times on the radio. I don't remember ever hearing Telephone while it was big. I know the video was huge; it's nearing 20million views and the day it came out, EVERYONE on my facebook was talking about it and loving it. That's like when Telephone and Bad Romance smashed culturally.
I saw commercials for Gaga on Ellen, independent of seeking them out through ATRL. My MOM mentioned that she was excited to see Gaga on Ellen. My parents would casually bring Gaga up all the time during TFM.
The reason you all think she's flopping like a beached whale is because you sit staring at iTunes positions and radio bullets. I promise you, the general public has no idea that anything about this era is different.
I hope HAIR will become a single and the music video will feature all her looks (makeup + wig) from all her mv starting from the latest vid which is marry the night and end with her look in Poker Face video!
