This is just stupid. People who dont live in the US cant talk about how easy it is to live here if they dont even know from firsthand experience. Yes I'm not trying to make it seem like we are so poor and terrible when I know much worse things are going on in other countries and people have to struggle to live everyday, but there are many places in the US that arent all peaches and cream. There are lots of people living in ghettos and tons of homeless people. So no, just by moving to america it doesnt guaruntee that your life will be E-A-S-Y.

The thing i like about this song is that its not just talking about the war but about making $5.15 an hour, no student left behind, being gay..ect. It talks about real issues and not just "I hate bush, stop the war". Im glad she did the song and did it the way it was done, very janis jopplin.

My point (6 days ago yeah I know, but I missed this post) totally went over your head. This nation - which you don't live in - is built on the public having a say in what is right. If we believe something is wrong? We have every right to say so. Yeah it's a ----ing great country to live in and life is much easier here, but I could argue that it's easier in the UK or Canada too. If things have a chance to be better, why settle for less? Just so we can be more like your nation?

Despite a couple questions/contradictions I see with the lyrics, I like this song. Pink is now an artist who dares the possible harsh criticisms by raising her voice to the vary people who control a major portion of our current as well as our future existance. That takes major courage.

BUT...
And I dunno if I mentioned this or not before, but I doubt people will take this track seriously. - (Unless if this is made into a decently presentable single.) I didn't see hardly ANY reaction when Em's "Mosh" came out around the 04' Presidential Election. And I don't see "Dear Mr. President" getting much attention either.
