Kremlin's got it right. There isn't anything particularly wrong with it, it just isn't as good as "Passion." Although, "Sanctuary" was created first, I do think that "Passion" was a better title for the song.

Not bad be any means, but just didn't live up to its Japanese counterpart.

I believe that Sanctuary came first because Passion actually sounds like a finished version of Sanctuary. And in Japanese.

It's true. Utada is a native of New York and tends to write all her music in English before Japanese and even has been quoted for mentioning that "Sanctuary" was hard to translate to "Passion"...ironically.
