It'll definitely be bittersweet!! But I think this may be her last album. But after music is over she can fully put herself into acting.

you know i think she may have changed her mind...she's realised the obvious increase in demand for her. extending her tour, doing performances with other big artists, the presenting, justins music career rubbing off on her, basically everything that's being offered because of her music. i think she's taken a much bigger interest in it than back when she said she wants to focus on acting.

I know she's loyal to HWR but her contract ends after four albums I believe, I really want her to leave them, but as @mister Gomez, she Is to loyal to them

I don't want her to stop making music. She can do both. Many artists are singers & actors, why can she be one? I won't accept it.

she will regret it, definitely. if she stops i can see her like doing a hilary, give it 5years and she will be planning a return i think she needs an attitude change tough and i think doing bigger movie roles will do that. not everybody wants that cute innocent disney girl when she's 23

Maybe. But I don't see her pursuing music after her contract with HWR ends. Unless she renews her contract with HWR which honestly I would not want her to do.

I agree, she's too nice not to do that though. I wish she would realise they are holding her back from her potential, but she says herself it's just for fun doesn't she? I think it's just she takes her acting very serious and being an artist is just something else and is afraid she can't do both.

If Selena were to continue with music and do it as more than just a side thing for herself and her fans then she's gonna have to work on a few things.
First she needs to work on her stage presence. She's getting better but she needs to work on being more comfortable and confident on stage.
Also she needs to work on her vocals. We all know she doesn't have an amazing voice but it wouldn't hurt for her to take a few vocal lessons so she can learn how to work with what she has.
And lastly she needs to be more involved with her music. This album, I feel, is the first album where she actually put herself into the writing process and was more active in the making of the songs.
Not saying she has to write all or any of the songs on the album but it'd be much more genuine and better if she was more involved with the writing.
Sometimes I feel like she just goes into the studio, listens to demos and unfinished songs that she likes and then she records them. Then from those songs that she recorded she picks the best and her faves and makes the album. With AYWR it feels like that's what she did. At least with WTSGD she had a lot more say and re-wrote some verses/bridges to fit her more.
At least that's what I think.

I agree 100%.
She's already improved at her own performances on her tour but yes there is big room for improvement. I would love her to do more on stage like she did for her Britney tribute, that was hot.
Along with vocal lessons the girl needs some dancing lessons, she looks so uncomfortable when she dances, she needs to be way more comfortable overall. And I hope they work on tracks on the next album that work well with her voice.

This, but she needs time to write songs, and this is where her movie career gets in the way as they take some of her time

The more I think about it, the more I want her to drop music temporarily. The acting and serious roles will give her the maturity and experience to grow as an artist.

THIS!! She should do more songs that compliment her voice then work against it. Songs like Hit The Lights, We Own The Night, Middle of Nowhere and Rock God compliment her voice. Love Song... not so much.

I know, and this proves that having a music career and acting career at the same time can be very tough. You want to give both the same amount of attention and effort.

Everything you said. I wish she never would have had "& the Scene". It's so irrelevant.
I personally think she'll end up missing it and going into music again in the future.
