SN: This would be her first BET award. I mean, she DID win that "Best Smile" award but it wasn't an award for her work as an artist or humanitarian. It's about time they give her something and it's about time ppl start to recognize the things she's done for not just African-American ppl but for ppl everywhere for whatever the reason.
I would rather see a half-hour tribute to her. Not a couple ****** performances like they usually do.
She's NEVER had a tribute, which is obvious as she's remained somewhat relevant I guess for a long time, but interesting nonetheless. But then no one can sing her songs anyways, so it's understandable.
