it will be awhile until a new boyband beats backstreet boys.... i dont even think anybody will.
but anywho... cher is so popular but her sales doesnt show it. she gets so much sold out concerts but i guess people just dont buy her records?

I didn't know Live sold that much...but it must be because of Throwing Copper. Same with Stone Temple Pilots, but then again, I remember their first two albums went diamond or somewhere close to that.
Respectable numbers for Korn, NIN, The Offspring, and Depeche Mode. Beastie Boys and Metallica have especially done great. ^_^

LOOK at the top 20, Mariahs 10 times younger than all of those artists and with just 15 years of career i think it really its amaizing, mariah its going to be the biggest selling female EVER...... in the US in a few years

i agree that MIRIAH CAREY (THE ALBUM) could be certified diamond but don't forget that madonna is still for releasing Jump and Push with little luck COADF might be certified 2xplatinum or more moving away from Mariah carey .
