A similar thing happened with stage school. It was on Sunday mornings, I wanted to be able to go on all nighters on Saturdays, so I quit, and I really wish I hadn't.

 I feel like I'm the exact opposite.  I dodge time with friends to do other things.  Like I'm currently addicted to policy debate, since I'm on the debate team.  I would ditch hanging out with friends just to stay up all night to research new cards, find new kritiks, counterplans, etc....
